Aghina National School, locally known as Caum School, is a two teacher coeducational primary school in the Parish of Macroom, a rural town in Mid Cork, Ireland. Effective use of the local environment enhances pupil learning and a variety of educational opportunities are provided for the pupils. Teaching and learning is in line with the Irish Department of Education and Science guidelines and the 1999 Revised Primary Curriculum. Information Technology is used to support, enhance and extend learning opportunities. Pupils' work is published regularly on the school website. Pupils contribute to the online diary on a weekly basis.
